A neuropsychological evaluation is an informed, professional assessment of the way your brain works across different areas of thinking. This involves testing, a review of your history, and an integration of information to create a comprehensive understanding of your brain’s functioning and its effect on your daily life. These evaluations are done by a neuropsychologist, which is a specialized type of psychologist with extensive training in the relationship between cognition, emotion, behavior, and the anatomy of the brain.
